Take some of the heat out of summer and cool down with these healthier homemade chocolate ice pops.

Ingredients  

  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup milk (whole milk or plant-based milk)
  • 2 tsp honey (or agave nectar)

Instructions 

  • In a blender place the bananas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, milk and honey and puree until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into ice-pop molds. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze for minimum 4 hours until solid.
  • To remove, pour hot water over the molds and gently pull the ice pops out while squeezing the mold.
Prep 15 minutes
Refrigerate 4 hours
TOTAL 4 hours 15 minutes
Makes 6 popsicles
