Take some of the heat out of summer and cool down with these healthier homemade chocolate ice pops.
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup milk (whole milk or plant-based milk)
- 2 tsp honey (or agave nectar)
In a blender place the bananas, peanut butter, cocoa powder, milk and honey and puree until smooth.
Pour the mixture into ice-pop molds. Insert ice-pop sticks and freeze for minimum 4 hours until solid.
To remove, pour hot water over the molds and gently pull the ice pops out while squeezing the mold.
